Listed as a historical monument since November 2020, the Nancy thermal baths, completely renovated and magnificently enlarged, are reopening their doors in a brand new thermal and aquatic complex. Bordered by the Sainte-Marie park, a stone's throw from the Musée de l'École de Nancy and the Villa Majorelle, Nancy Thermal offers visitors an exceptional setting.

Thermal water

The Natural Mineral Water (EMN) of Nancy comes from a deep borehole located near the establishment and the old original borehole. This water, 22,000 years old, is captured at a depth of approximately 800 m, which gives it great purity. It is naturally hot (35°), loaded with minerals (sodium chloride, sulfur) and rich in iron and magnesium. This heat and minerality give EMN analgesic, relaxing and sedative properties that are very interesting for the treatment of chronic rheumatic diseases. Nancy Thermal Center

Nancy Thermal is 3700m² divided into 3 thematic areas around the emblematic and historic round swimming pool of the former thermal area. A first place: the health area, intended for spa guests who come for specific pathologies such as rheumatology. A premium area allows spa guests in search of absolute rest and comfort to enjoy thermal cures in a different way, with dedicated treatment cabins and a complete offer. Within it, a Thermasanté area is offered to provide medical care for health prevention through physical activity as well as a Thermasport area intended more particularly for athletes, for recovery after exercise and rehabilitation after an injury.

The Thermal Spa offers two areas dedicated to well-being and rejuvenation: the Well-being area and the Wellness area. You can enjoy a moment of relaxation in hot thermal water pools, saunas or even hammams. Around the historic, renovated round swimming pool, this area offers a particularly rich offer, entirely based on thermal water over 895 m2. It will be possible to relax in the historic swimming pool while enjoying the jets and hydromassage jets. Finally, you can enhance your experience with our personalized treatments in the Institute.

The Aquasport area allows, thanks to its many facilities, to swim in an indoor or outdoor pool of 50 m, to do water sports or in the fitness room and to come and enjoy fun games with your family.

Directly connected to the thermal baths, you can make your stay at the Villa Thermae® residence to experience your treatment in complete serenity and join your treatments in a bathrobe directly from your room.

 The rheumatology spa treatment can act on spinal osteoarthritis and its consequences (cruralgia, sciatica, cervico-brachial neuralgia), osteoarthritis of the upper and lower limbs (hands, hips, knees), inflammatory rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, fibromyalgia and the after-effects of osteoarticular trauma.

The very comprehensive range of treatments combines treatments based on thermal water vapor, mud, massage under thermal water, simple baths and hydrojet baths, swimming pools, etc.
